Clinician Bio

Jen Tipton is an Associate Clinical Social Worker with dual graduate degrees in education and clinical social work. She helps adults navigate emotional challenges, identity development, relationship dynamics, and major life transitions. Her work focuses on understanding how stress, trauma, and life circumstances shape wellbeing, relationships, and personal growth.

Jen’s therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. She creates a collaborative environment where individuals feel supported exploring difficult experiences while building practical tools for resilience and emotional regulation. She works with individuals navigating conditions such as OCD, binge eating disorder, addiction, toxic relational patterns, grief, and complex life transitions.

Her integrative clinical style incorporates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, exposure-based interventions, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and somatic awareness. Jen also brings experience supporting individuals navigating dual diagnosis and recovery, as well as facilitating psychoeducational groups.

Outside of her clinical work, Jen is a canine behaviorist, animal rescue advocate, and volunteer supporting foster youth. She values creativity, humor, and the healing power of connection.

Jen earned her Master of Social Work from UMass Global and her Master of Arts in Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
