Darlicia Bruner is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who provides culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy to adults, couples, and families. Darlicia integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness practices, somatic approaches, art therapy, and psychoeducation. Her work emphasizes helping individuals understand the connection between brain and body, strengthen emotional regulation, and build practical skills for self-advocacy and resilience.
She has experience supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, trauma, and complex life stressors. Darlicia has also worked in residential treatment environments supporting individuals experiencing acute psychiatric distress and those transitioning from higher levels of care.
With a background in early childhood development and more than thirteen years of leadership experience, Darlicia brings strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills to her clinical work. She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a clinical concentration and a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development with a minor in Special Education.
